At night, the volume of the tear film is reduced. This makes the symptoms with dry eyes worse after the eyes have been closed at night, no matter how the symptoms were before bedtime. 3 Carbomer makes the gel last longer than drops and is therefore well suited at night. The gel is also suitable for use during the day in situations where the eyes need a little extra help to retain moisture.
